The Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (Recod.ai) at Unicamp is looking for a JC-IV scholarship holder (with a doctorate) to work in Horus Project, an international collaboration focused on developing new technological solutions for society, aiming to increase trust in digital media through innovative artificial intelligence (AI) methodologies.
Through communication strategies that include the use of dissemination, planning, and monitoring tools, the candidate will produce multimedia content for the laboratory's social media and websites. In addition to collaborating with researchers, they will be responsible for disseminating information about the project's applications in combating disinformation, synthetic media manipulation, and cyberthreats. The proposed activities will not only raise awareness of Project Horus but also contribute to a more informed public discourse on trust, security, and ethics in digital media.
The scholarship is part of Fapesp's Media Science program, in the JC-IV category, with a value of R$12.570,00 per month.
Requirements
• Skills with WordPress;
• Good experience with video and audio production and editing;
• Knowledge of graphic design;
• Experience in scientific journalism;
• Ability to construct bibliographic reviews and analyze media indicators;
• Must reside in the metropolitan region of Campinas/SP.
Desirable skills
• Experience in press relations;
• Familiarity with the topic of disinformation and synthetic realities, especially experience with disinformation analysis;
• Experience with photojournalism;
• Sense of organization, experience with internal communication and use of project management tools (e.g. Trello, Jira, Asana, etc.);
• English proficiency required for writing, reading and speaking.
